Cupping
The use of glass cups create a vacuum, so that areas where there is pain / contractures can be treated symptomatically (typically for athletes to recover after competitions or during training, but also for those who do non-competitive physical activity or simply have muscular – tendinous pains due to posture, overload etc….)
The cups help release tension and eliminate toxins, favoring the reactivation of blood and lymphatic circulation.
They return a feeling of lightness and ease.
There are specific katas for back pain, for colds, and so on.
They can also be used in combination with a specific oil to reduce cellulite;
the client can be in his swimwear or underwear, depending on how comfortable the person feels.
The treatment lasts half an hour and could also be be integrated with half an hour of Shiatsu treatment.
Moxibustione
Moxibustion (or Moxa) is a particular therapeutic technique deriving from the Traditional Chinese Medicine, characterized by the prolonged application of heat on points and meridian energy channels, typical of acupuncture.
This heat is produced by the burning, near the area to be treated, of special cigars of mugwort, which is a medicinal plant (artemisia vulgaris) whose leaves are specifically dried, pressed and pulverized.
Through the combustion of these cigars it is thus possible to obtain a slow and beneficial heating of the skin and of all the physical structures involved.
The pressed mugwort cigar (that does not make any smoke) is kept two centimeters away from the skin and can heat some points. according to katas, or areas where there is pain-tension, following Traditional Chinese Medicine and/or pain symptoms.

Cranio-sacral reharmonization techniques
Techniques that captures what is common in the holistic approach of the sacral skull and Shiatsu and integrates the Shiatsu treatment, reinforcing its effect.
Tibetan bells
Some parts of the body are treated with a Tibetan bell. The benefits of sound vibrations are similar and reinforce the effect of thumbs pressure.
The treatment lasts about 20 minutes; it could be integrated with fourty minutes of Shiatsu, or the duration of the treatment could also be extended.
Sotai
Breathing techniques and mindfulness exercises
Diaphragmatic breathing exercises combined with visualizations and a bodyscan, to increase awareness and clarity of mind, as well as psycho-physical-emotional balance.

Stretching of the meridian energy channels
Exercises to do together, or even at home after trying them a few times.
Performed consistently, they help dissolve tensions and give elasticity, reinforcing the effect of the Shiatsu treatment.
Group sessions of 2-3 people can also be organized if desired; the treatment also works individually.
